Going ashore

When the ship is in port, crew members can go ashore (off the ship) during their free time.

Upon joining the ship, you will be given a crew card, which is your official identification. The crew card must be

presented to the security officer whenever going ashore or coming back on board.

Should you fail to present your card upon boarding, the ship’s officers will assume that you are missing at the time of

sailing. To be left behind is a serious matter that may involve dismissal and considerable cost. Therefore always

check the ship’s departure time before going ashore!

In addition, when using the ship’s tenders or when going ashore, do not block the gangway and assist guests if

necessary. Wait for the officer’s permission and keep in mind that our guests have priority at all times! Always sit in

the back of the tender, if there is space.

Remember that you must be back on board no later then 30 minutes before departure when the ship is docked.

When the ship is at anchor and uses tenders, all crew must come back on board at least one hour prior to

departure.
